The role also involves providing assistance as scribes or readers to students who need extra support in exams.

:

The main examination period is May and June but there are other times throughout the year when invigilators are required.

We do require a commitment that you will be available for mock exams, November and February/March, in addition to May and June which is our peak period for examinations.

The role holder will ensure exams are carried out fairly and in accordance with the rules set out by the examination board.

Previous experience would be helpful although not essential, as training will be provided.

Hethersett Academy is one of East Anglia's best performing schools, judged as Outstanding by OFSTED in all areas. Ofsted have highlighted how much our pupils value their education with Hethersett Academy.

Pupils know that if bullying does happen, staff deal with it effectively and promptly. Pupils have very high expectations of their own and others' behaviour. They value every minute of learning time."_
