About the role

  • What will you be doing?
As Stock Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

You will manage all stock and inbound deliveries to ensure the timely receipt of goods to meet the business requirements.

Working closely with the procurement team, you will ensure that stock levels are replenished, and equipment is delivered to the engineering teams as required.

So what does the role look like day-to-day?
Key responsibilities include

  • Monitor and actively manage stock levels on site
  • Handle and pack fragile stock using appropriate packaging
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries
  • Reconcile and verify receiving documents including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading etc.
  • Using the company vehicle to deliver stock between sites (including to engineers at installation)
  • Processing parcels/orders using the relevant courier's software
  • Unloading containers in a safe and timely manner
  • Liaising with the procurement team on stock levels and replenishment needs
  • Stock condensing and stock rotation

Key Requirements

  • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel to deliver stock
  • Familiar with goods in, picking and dispatch processes
  • Numerically astute
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Excel)
  • Proactive and Reactive
  • Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
  • FLT licence (desired) or willingness to undertake required training
