Description

Co Responsible for line management within the Corporate Services function including undertaking Personal Reviews, monthly one to one meetings, scheduling workloads and overseeing deadlines and day-to-day work.

Responsible for the coordination, management and maintenance of the programme/project documentation, including the submission of reports to the Programme Team and senior corporate team.

Supporting the delivery and project tracking of the various programmes of work of the corporate services senior team to support directorate delivery objectives.

Aiding the Director of Corporate Governance and the Programme Director Special projects, to negotiate with and motivate ICB teams on their own project delivery aspects, including linking in with other ICB and ICS initiatives.


Drafting and managing project delivery plans in line with Project/ Programme methodology including: o Gathering and receiving information, this is often of a complex and sensitive nature.

o Communicating project sensitive information requiring agreement or co-operation from senior programme managers, and stakeholder organisations and provide advice as necessary.

Participate in relevant internal and external working groups / projects to provide information analytics advice and support and to maintain data collection systems for its effective use by the Project Team.

Evaluate and monitor identified risks and issues and highlight necessary action(s) to mitigate or resolve these.


Responsible for managing, maintaining and developing systems required for providing high level support to aid the smooth running of the organisation.

To manage on a day-to-day basis the operational management of health and safety for the organisation.

To promote and embed effective health and safety practices within the organisation, ensuring that changes to working practices are actioned where necessary.

To ensure that the requirement for risk assessments is identified and that these are performed promptly, and any other actions identified implemented within appropriate timescales.

Work with colleagues to ensure that the ICB meets all its obligations with regards to Information Governance. Support the ICB in ensuring full legal and statutory organisational compliance for example, adherence to the Nolan Principles.

Responsible for the training of new executive and administrative team members of staff including temporary staff, ensuring all staff have an adequate induction programme.

Responsible for the facilitates management for the ICB for the locality hubs, ensuring all Health and Safety and governance aspects are in place, liaising with the landlord and other occupants of the building.

Prioritise and plan own day-to-day tasks using own initiative to ensure an efficient service to the organisation.

Deal with enquiries from members of the public or staff which may be of an aggressive or of a sensitive nature.

Maintain strict confidentiality around sensitive business matters. Plan, prioritise and manage heavy workloads and multiple tasks effectively.

Use sound knowledge of the NHS, ICB and neighbouring local authority organisations to support the organisation. Devise, develop and maintain electronic filing and bring forward systems.

Responsible for the effective running of the ICB, including researching, and monitoring the implementation of any modern office systems which maximise the use of technology.
