Brief Description

Skills Required for the role:

• Work at heights on scaffolding
• Work outside in all weather conditions where safe to do so
• Good teamworking skills
• Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision
• Must be able to focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Ability to listen and follow instructions
• Attention to detail

Skills Desirable for the role:

• Driving License
• Previous roofing experience
• Previous solar panel installation experience

Vacancy Detail

You will work from our Stotfold office as solar panel installation technician, initially shadowing a senior technician but quickly taking responsibility on your own suitable jobs.

We are most interested in your personality and soft skills.


The Role, including but not limited to:

• Unloading and loading solar equipment
• Locating storage batteries, inverters and other materials
• Installing feet, rail and panels to various different roofs type
• Supporting with the installation of DC cables to the inverters
• Installation of bird proofing systems
• Repairing roofing damage such as cracked roof tiles
• Maintaining van tidiness and reporting low stocks of materials

What an average day looks like

• Onsite at the installation address for 08:30
• Install feet, rail and panels until completed
• Install bird netting where applicable
• Repair roofing is needed
• Collect waste
• Return to office
• Unload/Load job for following day

Job Types:
Temporary contract, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£120.00 per day


Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus
