We're rapidly growing our Natural Language processing and Data Analysis capabilities in the UK and looking to recruit Senior Consultants with experience in Automation technologies in the context of business consulting.

The Senior Consultant is to work within our Connected Technology practice serving clients across all sectors.

We're looking for talented data enthusiasts, with abilities that cover both structured and unstructured data, to design market leading solutions for a diverse range of clients across multiple industries.

This particular role requires.

besides technical abilities that cover both structured and unstructured data, a basic understanding of supplier audit, procurement and other related activities within Contract Management.


You'll work closely with senior leadership team to architect solutions to address our clients most meaningful problems; revenue leakage, contract risks, contract re-papering, contracts affecting internal audits and regulatory compliance, through the use of innovative automation solutions.


We work in a very flat organisation structure, so you'll need to be a strong negotiator, influencer and team player, used to managing multiple partners in demanding time-critical situations.

Internally we'll ask you to participate in developing the capability of the people within our practice, development of the proposition and GTM activities.

The role is London based, but there is an expectation for you to travel to client sites, and other KPMG UK offices, when needed.

You will also have the opportunity to work with team members across multiple locations in UK and abroad.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coding NLP solutions to read various kinds of document and extract information, whilst keeping in mind the efficiencies that need to benefit from scale.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and business analysts on complex design and delivery standard methodologies
  • Support design and delivery of coded rules on structured data based on business logic
  • Support shaping and driving the client delivery from presales assistance where needed, to working with multifunctional teams
  • Support the creation of commercial constructs and risk management which reflect the chosen technology direction and articulating the commercial value of solutions to internal teams
  • Support the solution design and integration between automation tools and advanced analytical (Machine Learning & Cognitive) technologies and core business platforms to reduce risk, introduce consistent design patterns and keep delivery teams productive

Must-have skillset:


  • Experience in workng with data science and machine learning workstreams and delivering successful projects across multiple workstreams and geographies
  • Extensive experience in technology consulting with a view of commercial and business aspects
  • Expertise in programming languages such as SQL and Python.

Additionally (good to have):

  • Cloud services e.g. Azure, Google
  • Data Visualisation e.g. PowerBI
  • RPA toolsets
  • OCR


  • DevOps

  • CI/CD, Git
  • Strong all round problem solver and particularly skilled at translating conceptual business requirements into successful high performance technical solutions
  • Strong communicator with the personal skills to build strong and lasting work relationships
  • Experiencing of leading others preferred, with a view to managing a team as the role grows
