An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Directorate of Medicine for an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated health care support worker to join our COTE nursing team on Ward 18 at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend


The individual will be required to work under the direction of the registerednurse, ensuring that high standards of care are provided and maintained at all times.

Care of the Elderly is a challenging, demanding and rewarding specialty.

We are a motivated and enthusiastic team and welcome new colleagues to join us.

We are looking for enthusiastic, happy professional individuals who have pride in their work with an interest in frailty and have a passion for looking after elderly patients.

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to be flexible, compassionate and kind.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family.

The applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to use their own initiative.

Flexibility regarding shift patterns is essential.

In addition, experience working with the elderly who may have complex physical and cognitive needs is desirable, however training will be provided for the successful applicant.
