Job Purpose
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead Software Integration Efforts: Take charge of the endtoend integration process, from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with product development goals and industry standards.
- Collaborate with
Development Teams:
Work closely with hardware and software development teams to integrate software components into battery pack systems, including battery management systems (BMS), communication protocols, and control algorithms.
- Drive Integration Strategy: Develop and implement a robust integration strategy, considering factors such as compatibility, performance, safety, and compliance with automotive industry standards.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing and validation of integrated software, conducting thorough analysis to identify and resolve any integration issues or discrepancies.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Proactively identify potential integration challenges and risks, and develop mitigation plans to ensure seamless implementation.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, including specifications, test plans, and results. Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to software integration team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay Current with
Industry Trends:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry standards related to battery pack development and software integration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software integration within the automotive industry or battery pack development.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to battery pack software (e.g., C/C++, Python).
- Strong knowledge of battery management systems (BMS), communication protocols (CAN, LIN), and control algorithms.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
- Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

£75,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
