In this role you'll take an active role in the University's change and continuous improvement team, Focus.

The team works with colleagues across central and academic departments, improving the quality of services, enhancing collaboration and supporting people in improving the delivery of the professional services that support Oxford's core mission of teaching and research.

As a Focus Continuous Improvement (CI) Practitioner you'll be taking an active role in the University's change and continuous improvement team to improve our services.

The Focus CI Practitioner role is varied and challenging.

In this role you could lead a service review or improvement project, develop continuous improvement capabilities in teams and individuals, and act as a trusted expert and coach in CI.

In all cases you will work in partnership with people across the organisation including senior figures and sponsors adopting a highly collaborative approach and operating as an ambassador for continuous improvement and change across the University.


About you
You will have experience working successfully within complex project environments and in using CI tools and techniques. You will be able to demonstrate how you've used your skills to challenge constructively and introduce change.

You will be a clear communicator with excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to work well with people in uncertain and/or complex situations.

Your ability to work as part of a team and build strong and positive working relationships with colleagues across the organisation to achieve results will be critical to success in the role.
