Overview:
Join our team as a Kennel Assistant and be part of a compassionate and dedicated animal care environment. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to animals and supporting our veterinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any health concerns to the veterinary staff
- Assist with restraining animals for medical procedures
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Assist with bathing and grooming of animals
- Provide basic customer service to pet owners visiting the facility
Experience:
- Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Qualification in animal care to level 2.
Pay:
£6.95-£10.25 per hour
