Description

We are looking for a HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Driver to join the team on an ad-hoc, part time basis.

You will be working for multiple clients trunking to a variety of places. Start and finish times will vary.

Must have transport due to locations.

Requirements:

Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods from one location to another
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
Communicate with transport team, customers, and other drivers using electronic devices or inperson

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience essential
Valid Class 1 Driver's licence (Cat CE) with a clean driving record (preferred)
Proven ability to drive long distances and navigate various road conditions

Skills:

Commercial driving skills
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
Ideally you will have previous LGV driving experience
Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Clean and professional at all times
Good written and spoken communication skills
Efficient use of time, enthusiasm and pride in your work is essential
