Description
We're looking for a
Works Scheduler / Administrator to join our Utilities, South West Water team. Within this office-based role, you'll be part of a collaborative team environment, where training is provided.

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.

In this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.


In the role of Planning Coordinator, you will work closely with our site teams and Supervisor's based in Cornwall to obtain their ground works reinstatement requirements, ensuring we repair the roads and pavements after work has been carried out.

You will be responsible for end-to-end planning, and liaising with our suppliers (i.e., tarmac, concrete, and footways) to ensure we have the required tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Liaising with customers, clients and depots to achieve and maintain excellence in delivering planned works.
  • Accurate data input into bespoke systems of Kier and SWW.
  • Undertake all planning of the role to a competent level without errors.
  • Confident and experienced telephone manner.
  • Ability to resolve problems, think outside the box and be proactive.

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous admin experience
  • Excellence in Customer Service
  • Calm under pressure/strong personality/multitasking
You do not need to have previous Utilities planning experience, we will provide you with the required training.
