Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
  • Take customer orders and ensure accuracy in preparation and delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service
  • Assist in meal preparation as needed
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and guest services

Experience:


  • Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant setting preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Familiarity with various drink recipes and mixing techniques
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette
  • Ability to work well within a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract


Pay:
£8.50-£11.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wakefield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
