A London Market Insurance client of ours are looking for a Mid-level Solution Architect to work on exciting new projects focussing around a brand new Data platform with a heavy focus around Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

What you will be doing:

Understanding the user requirements and existing environments, and translate them into an architecture and road map
GuidethefulllifecycleofaSolution,including:
UnderstandtheBusinessCapabilitiesthatarerequiredandtranslatethisto Technical Capabilities and Solution Architecture
Designthe company's architecture andsolutionstomeetbusinessrequirementsinamannerthat balances architectural standards, and implementation and operational risks, with restrictedparameters such as budget and time
Document data flow and storage mechanisms and provide examples to data developers when necessary
Work with data modelers to ensure modeling approach is appropriate for the given data architecture and solution
Assistinthecreationofcostestimatesincludingimplementationaswellastotalcostof ownership
EnsuresecuritybydesigntomeetInformationSecuritypolicies,Legal,Compliance,Risk,and Regulatory requirements, and industry best practice
Leading design reviews (predevelopment) and implementation reviews (postdevelopment) to ensureprinciplesandstandardsarefollowed,andthattechnicaldebtismanaged

Experience you need:

A strong understanding of the Insurance domain will benefit you in this role
You will need to understand & be able to communicate business problems & technical solutions in appropriate terminology
Must have excellentpresentation,communication(oral&written),andrelationshipbuildingskills,acrossall levels of management
The abilitytoworkaspartofa team ortobeselfdirectedasrequired
Have experience workingaspartofaglobalteam(includingoutsourcing)spanningmultipletimezones
Must have knowledgeandactiveuseofAgile,SCRUMandContinuousDelivery
An exposure to MLOps, ML and AI
