Transport Planner

Our Pluckley based client, a market leader in the agricultural services sector, have an exciting opportunity to join the Transport team on a permanent basis.

The role

Route planning
Maintaining and preparation of transport and delivery documentation.
Managing compliance and ensuring drivers meet regulation, vehicle maintenance and health and safety regulations are always met and exceeded.
Planning routes for 25+ trucks on a day to day basis.
Continuously strive for improvement across all process and identifying where these can and need to be made

The Offer

Salary £40k
Opportunity to enhance skills and gain qualifications
Progression into transport manager position.

What are we looking for from you?

Proven experience in transport planning and/or logistics coordination
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
A good communicator
Proficiency in using transport management systems
Accuracy in data recording and creating documentation
Knowledge of current transport regulations and compliance standards
