An exciting opportunity has arisen to join South Tyneside Council as a key member of the corporate Performance and Information Team

However, there is still plenty to do, and we have a strong appetite for continuous learning and improvement. We are building on our many strengths through our ambitious 'Our Council' change and modernisation programme.


A key part of this is ensuring the Council has robust performance frameworks and top-quality management information to drive improvements.


This post sits within the valued corporate Performance and Information Team and will help us deliver against our priorities through our new, enhanced, corporate performance framework.

You will make a real difference by helping us make best use of our performance data to provide oversight, assurance and challenge, supporting evidence-based decision-making by working with senior managers who will really value the support you provide.


You will have excellent analytical and IT skills and be able to present data in an effective and engaging way.

You will provide excellent customer service across a range of services, including Council partnerships, and have the ability to maintain strong, productive relationships with key customers.


We are looking for an individual who has a genuine understanding and enthusiasm about the use of data to support improved service delivery and outcomes.
