Here at The Hillcrest Hotel we have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join our busy Reception team.

This role will include the following:

  • Ensure guests are greeted at all times in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Ensure external and internal phone calls are answered efficiently and correctly.
  • Check in and check out procedures.
  • Ensure bedroom reservations are taken and inputted into the system correctly.
  • Handle all guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Drive sales revenues and promote hotel services and facilities for upselling opportunities.
  • Be constantly aware of the day's business including arrivals, departures and guest requests.
  • Ensure all cash and payment procedures are carried out in accordance with Company policy.
  • Deal with payment/invoice queries and chase for outstanding monies.
  • Must be flexible with regards to hours.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends is a must.
  • Be highly organised.
  • Be customer focused.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have previous experience in a reception role.
  • Have experience in using reslynx hotel system
Previous hotel reception experience is required for this role but not essential as full training will be given.

Working Knowledge of Reslynx is an advantage but not essential.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
