We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant who is compassionate and driven to make a difference to patients and their families at a difficult time in their lives.

The Hospice night-sitting service provides respite care for patients and their carers within their own home, giving families the chance to sleep, recharge and provide support.

This role is for 28.5 hours per week (3 nights per week) and the pay is based on these hours.

The working pattern is 9.45pm - 6.45am.

Applications are welcome from individuals looking for 2 nights only (19 hours / week).

Hospice at Home serves the whole of North Lancashire, South Lakeland, Cumbria and includes parts of North Yorkshire, and visits may be anywhere in this catchment area.

It is essential you hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle during working hours.

St Johns Hospice provides a range of specialist palliative care for people living with or affected by any life-limiting illness.
