Our Carter Lane Office is looking for a new Credit Controller to join the brilliant and talented team in London.
The Credit Controller will work closely with the Credit Control Manager to collect cash across the firm and to help oversee the management of WIP.
These need to be properly managed to maximise the collection of cash, to minimise the bad debts and provide accurate monthly financial results.
We at Taylor Rose MW, are a Top 60 Law Firm in which we have multiple offices across the UK.
You will be working alongside the Credit Control team in Carter Lane, London whilst assisting and working with dedicated Fee Earners throughout the company to ensure the management of WIP is maintained.
This role involves but is not limited to:
Deliver a high-quality collections process to all fee earners within the business and monitor the effectiveness of the process.
Review and manage the level of WIP in the business liaising with relevant fee earners, heads of department and financial management
Understand the firm's billing rules
Support the billing write off process and ensure any material amounts are brought to the attention of the Credit Manager.
Requirements:
Experience of credit control procedures preferably gain within a law firm
Understanding of SRA regulations and regulatory environment
Ability to plan and prioritise, produce high quality work while handling multiple projects
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Resilience and ability to challenge appropriately
Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
Ability to work under own initiative
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
