Who you'll be working for:
Irwin Mitchell is a full service law firm established in Sheffield in 1912. The firm offers legal and wealth management services from its 15 offices and employs more than 2,500 people.

This role is responsible for delivering quality insight from our on-line banking and supplier management systems.
It ensures that all client income and expenditure reporting is prepared and presented to aid Partners with delivering an excellent client experiencewhen they meet families and clients every year.
You will be responsible for:
- Operating as a key member of the Central Finance Team, working with case handlers and Partners, to prepare and deliver the Annual Deputyship/Trust reporting requirements.
- Preparing and delivering quarterly financial "Income & Expenditure" reports and analysis.
- Identifying and developing improvements to working practices with an emphasis on excellent client care, operational efficiencies and improved risk control.
- Taking on adhoc requests as required, in particular analysis and reporting required by clients and families directly.
- Providing insight to the Team Leader on any improvements required or opportunities for process improvements or data cleansing.
- Supporting the Team Leader and Partners in providing analysis which drives a culture of compliance, best practice and operational excellence on key processes.
- Ensuring that all work is completed in line with the agreed priorities and that all tasks are completed to the agreed timescale. Where delivery may deviate from original plan, to inform relevant stakeholders inside and outside the team within a reasonabletimeframe.
- Supporting the National CoP Team to ensure all payments to clients, their families and suppliers on behalf of CoP and Trust clients are made as a minimum, in line with their expectations but always aiming to exceed.

Entry requirements:
- 5 GCSEs including Maths & English (or equivalents) at grades 4+ (A* C)
Working week:
35 hours per week, 9am - 5pm
Future prospects:
92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
