At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier We're looking for a Physical Activity Coach to join our One You Lincolnshire service.

One You Lincolnshire provides high quality and evidenced based information, advice, and interventions to help people change unhealthy behaviours.

We run courses in Adult Weight Management, Physical Activity, Alcohol Reduction and Smoking Cessation supported by a team of Health Coaches across the county.

A typical day as a Physical Activity Coach might include:

  • Delivering a range of 1 to 1 and group interventions that focus on supporting clients to increase and sustain their physical activity levels.
  • Offer behaviour change support and healthy lifestyle advice.
  • Support with the processing of new move more referrals into the system and contacting them promptly to get them started on a suitable intervention.
  • Work closely with the move more team, other OYL pathways and partner organisations to support clients' needs and meet targets.
  • Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for clients using our policies and procedures.
  • Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments we're always looking to share knowledge and resources
  • Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements, and guidance.
  • Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values

Requirements:


Ideally you will hold a recognised level 2/3 Fitness qualification and have some experience of supporting clients to increase their physical activity levels.

To work with us in this role you will need to have some delivery experience of supporting clients to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Benefits

Contract:
Permanent, part time (0.4 full time equivalent - 15 hours per week)


Salary:
Starting at £9,000 per year for 2 days a week

Location:

This job is based in Lincolnshire, with regular travel across the County (car owner desired) & occasional requirements to attend Thrive Tribe HQ in Stratford.
