The Customer Service Advisor (Reception) will join a small reception team responsible for greeting visitors, contributing to the staffing of the University switchboard and signposting students to appropriate student services.

The reception desk is open and therefore flexibility in shift changes is required.


To provide an initial point of customer service on the reception desk, to respond to and resolve customer enquiries via face to face, online and telephone.

The post holder will be providing a wide range of information and services and work primarily in Bedford with some travel to Luton.

The Customer Service Advisor (Reception) will contribute to the student experience by taking ownership of the enquiry, liaising with other relevant University staff and ensure that the enquiry is completed within a specified time period.

This is an on-campus role.

Interviews will be held on 15 June 2023.
