Salary - £23, £27, rising to £30,485 on TC3 grade)

A vacancy has arisen in the Board's Inverness office for a Field Officer/Senior Technical Assistant to survey properties for domestic and non-domestic Rating and Council Tax purposes.

You will principally be required to survey, measure and collate property information for the purposes of council tax and rating valuation.

Essential duties will also include electoral registration activities such as door to door canvassing.

You will preferably have experience in the survey and measurement of buildings and land. Familiarity in working with the public will also be an advantage. Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills are essential.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within the Highland area to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

You will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure check.
