Our CMI (Cardiometabolic and Informatics) business has an exciting opportunity for an Intern / Year in Industry Placement Student to join our
Operational Excellence team in our
in-vitro diagnostic manufacturing site in Dundee (Scotland) for data science role incorporating data visualisation and statistical analysis.

Day to day, you will:

Undertake data collection, preprocessing and analysis
Analyse and synthesize data into meaningful results and findings (trends and patterns) which are more easily understood by a wide audience
Generate large databases from various sources of structured and unstructured data (including performing Statistical Process Control analyses)
Develop interactive dashboards that combine visuals with realtime data
Work with scientists and analysts to integrate and separate data feeds to map, produce, transform and test new scalable data sets
Conduct all activities in accordance with the Abbott Dundee Health & Safety culture

You will currently be studying a bachelors level qualification, with preference given to those in the areas of
Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics
or equivalent discipline.

The intern will be on-site 5 days/week in our Dundee site (Technology Park).
