Based in a retail environment, these roles involve work on the shopfloor to help prevent loss & improve safety._
-
Working within a team, work involves observational skill, regular patrolling, and report work, to help prevent anti-social behaviour and to deter loss._

This is a permanent, part-time (up to 26hrs) role for the correct applicant, with opportunities for overtime work & internal promotion._

Great interpersonal and communication skills will help in this work and applicants should have a current SIA (Security Guard / Door Supervisor) licence before applying_

Job responsibilities to include:_

  • Conducting security patrols, to ensure a security presence is visible
  • Providing a safe environment for staff and customers
  • Deterring theft and antisocial behaviour
  • Reacting to incidents professionally
  • Incident handling and reporting

You will need:_

  • An SIA _(Security Guarding/Door Supervisor)_ licence
  • A checkable, fiveyear, work history
  • Excellent customer service _(communication)_ skills
  • To be approachable, yet assertive, when required
  • A willingness to listen and learn
  • Physical fitness _(the role involves standing and walking)_

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.50 per hour
