Working Days and Hours:
Monday to Friday,.45am to 5pm (will include a 45 minute break).


Job Purpose:


  • Assisting in processing of Referrals using an ereferral system Data entry / collation from electronic systems and via use of Excel spreadsheets
  • Booking appointments General administrative duties (post, photocopying, scanning etc)
  • Updating Patient Record System (Lorenzo) Reception duties including greeting visitors, young service users and their families
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries from parents / carers, service users and professionals
  • Message taking
  • You will be required to cover Reception during periods of absence, including lunch time cover and non
- working days of our main Receptionist.

  • You will also be required to cover our teams Video Call system
  • Attend Anywhere and support the wider Business Support Team as needed.
  • It is essential that the post holder has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising with patients, families and other health and social care professionals on a daily basis.
  • You should be able to demonstrate, and promote the Trust Values of 'Positively, Respectfully and Together' in your behaviour and attitude.
  • In addition, you will need to have good time management, a positive and flexible approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You need to work on your own initiative and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • NVQ 2 Customer Services or equivalent or Good standard of Education (to Grade C or equivalent)
  • Effective and articulate communication skills, both oral and in writing
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and a variety of tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Ability to remain calm in times of pressure or crisis Desirable criteria
  • Minute taking
