Consegna are continuing to work with a market leading Health & Protection brokerage based around the Preston area.
They have several areas of the business, but this role would be working within the main hub of the business, so would be where the majority of compliance work is completed.
They would be requiring an experienced Compliance Officer with regulatory experience to join their team working within the insurance industry.
You would be working closely with the Compliance Manager to support the running of a group of insurance intermediary firms and will be responsible for providing support on company wide compliance matters.
Responsibilities of a Compliance Officer:
- To assist the Compliance Manager in the delivery of the company Compliance Monitoring plan
- Administration, audit review and root cause analysis.
- To provide support to both internal and external firms with compliance queries
- To review client files to confirm suitability of advice
- To provide support with training and staff development
- To maintain the business policies, procedures and compliance
- To contribute to policy improvements
Experience required to be considered for the Compliance Officer role:
- Experience of working in a Compliance role within financial services
- Understanding of FCA Regulation & Data Protection Legislation
- Strong IT skills including using Microsoft
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good organisational skills
- A professional telephone manner
