Bibby Hygiene was established in 1931. We are a family run business based in Wigan.


We collect clinical, offensive, medical & washroom waste and provide hygiene services all over the North of England and Northern Wales.

We are looking for drivers to join our expanding team.


Job description

Clinical Waste Operative/Driver based in Wigan
Hours per week and Shift times: Monday to Friday 5.30am - 1.30pm (some flexibility required)

40 Hours Per week, overtime available.

Rate:
£11.55 per hour (increase after probation period), all overtime paid.


Description:


  • Clinical Waste from Dentists, Doctors, Nursing Homes, etc.
  • Collecting sanitary waste from washrooms.
  • Servicing washroom equipment by replacing air freshener refills, batteries, vending machine products, urinal mats, etc.
  • Input collection and deliveries on an I-Pad.
  • A company van and fuel card are provided.
  • A DBS check is required and will be paid for by the employer.
  • 28 days holiday per year including bank Holidays.

Requirements:


  • Able to hand ball items on and off vehicles
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Able to use your own initiative
  • Trustworthy
  • Full clean driving license
  • Experience of working in a similar industry is an advantage
  • Experience of driving 3.5 tonne vehicles (or similar)
  • Must be a confident user of technology, specifically iPads

Salary:
£11.55-£12.07 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
