Part Time Freelance Arts Administrator and Bookkeeper
The Test Valley Arts Foundation are now looking for a freelance part time arts or admin professional to help support the organisation and delivery of its activities as well as provide administrative and bookkeeping support to the Director and Trustees in support of its charitable operations.
The role is for 6.5 hours per week, (ideally on a Monday in line with the hours of the Director) but ultimately is a flexible and remote role - so would fit well around school hours and school holidays.
The role would include:
- To be the point of contact with the public, for enquiries for grant support and progress such requests to the Board.
- To support marketing activities and social media management
- To keep all necessary records and files up to date concerning the work of the Foundation to ensure transparency and legal compliance.
- To ensure that the Board's policies and other relevant legal requirements are kept current and assist in their effective implementation.
- With the Chairman and Director provide support for Board meetings (usually held 5x a year in the evenings), and create and follow up supporting documentation
- To manage the issuing of invoices and payment of invoices using SAGE
- To reconcile the bank account and manage SAGE
- To prepare and submitting the year end financial reports with our charity accountants.
The Test Valley Arts Foundation has a thirty year history of facilitating culture, creativity and the arts within the borough of the Test Valley, from Andover to Romsey and all the surrounding villages in between and beyond.
