My client is looking for a Payroll Assistant for a 1-year contract to cover maternity leave initially.Payroll and HR experience would be preferred as well as some finance experience.
Someone who can manage their work and hit deadline independently once trained.
Also able to communicate at all levels factory floor to director level.
- Processing of weekly payroll using Opera Payroll
- Maintain of time and attendance system for all staff
- Recording of holidays/attendance
- Assisting production with completing of return to works
- Inputting of training records on time and attendance
- All HMRC return linked with weekly payroll
- Adhoc reports on attendance to production manager
- Adhoc HR paperwork in assistance with HR Manager
- Cover from main switchboard
- Adhoc admin duties.
Monday - Thursday 8:
Friday 8:30 - 12:30
Salary is £21K- £25K dependent upon experience.
Annual holiday 172 hours.
Attendance bonus scheme.
Medical leave cover.
Job Types:

Contract length: 12 months

£21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
