Technical Surveyor - The Role:


Hart Door Systems manufactures and installs a series of models of high performance, industrial, security, fire and energy saving door products and has been successful in both UK and international markets across the range.

The Company currently employs 50 people across the business all operating from head office at Westerhope, Newcastle upon Tyne. The factory comprises approximately 20,000 sq./ft of modern industrial and office space. The company is financially secure and wholly owns the factory site and all equipment.

We are investing in all areas of the business, looking for A team players, in all areas of the business.

Working as part of a team, you will travel to various sites throughout the North East & Cumbrian region.

We are looking for someone with a mechanical skill set and basic electrical knowledge. In return, we can offer you a rewarding career with a highly innovative company.


Key duties / responsibilities:


  • Undertake site surveys for installations / repairs / service contracts.
  • Manages requests for quotations.
  • To assist the sales team, planning department and engineers with technical issues.
  • Enjoys working with customers and building relationships.
  • Assisting with the daily operation of the organisation.
  • Communicating goals and deadlines to team members.
  • Customer centric mindset understanding what creates value to our customers and providing excellent customer service.
  • Team monitoring and evaluate team progress.
  • Problem solving and finding solutions.
  • Monthly divisional reporting.
  • To abide by and & promote health and safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
