Full Job Description


Calton Living is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounts Administrator for a role based in our Edinburgh office on George Street for our serviced apartment business.

This role is to provide comprehensive support to the Directors on all financial aspects of the business.


Responsibilities Summary

  • Preparing and reconciling statements and managing guest reservation payments.
  • Processing supplier payments.
  • Setting up and managing utility accounts for the various properties under management.
  • General management of the banking facilities.
  • Manage all payroll tasks, pension contributions, expenses etc.
  • Post transactions to accounting software for suppliers, sales, nominal and bank transactions.
  • Prepare Quarterly Management Accounts for the Directors.
  • Prepare regular Cash Flow Forecasts and Aged Debtors reports for the Directors.
  • Provide financial information and liaise with Company Accountants in preparation of Year End Accounts.

Skills / Experience

  • Have experience in a similar role previously.
  • Have working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software package.
  • Possess excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel.
  • Have strong communication skills, be organised and selfmotivated.
  • Be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our staff and clients.
  • Experience of working within an office environment.
  • Be proactive in seeking support and training opportunities.

Company pension contribution.
29 days annual leave per year including bank / public holidays, extra 5 days granted with longer service.


Salary:
From £27,000.00 per year
