Job description;

Sheet metal worker mark out, cut, shape and join sheet metal using hand or machine tools to make and repair sheet metal products and components.

Duties and responsibilities:
- examine drawings and specifications to assess job requirements
- use template, measuring instruments and tools to mark out layout lines and reference points
- use hand or machine tools to bend, roll, fold, press or beat cut sheet metal
- assemble prepared parts and joins them by bolting, welding or soldering
- finish product by grinding, filing, cleaning and polishing
- repair damaged metal parts such as copper sheets and tubes by beating, riveting, soldering, welding and fitting replacement parts
- check final product to ensure conformity with specifications
- report to the Directors.

Qualification and/ or experience;
The applicant will be expected to hold relevant qualification at NVQs/SVQs or 4 years relevant experience.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Salary:
£26,200.00-£26,600.00 per year
