We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive variable hours lecturer to deliver trade union education course for TUC and affiliated union courses.

About the role:

You will deliver courses both on the TUC programme and for affiliate unions.

Delivery can be one day a week for up to 10 weeks for the TUC/Unison/UCU/PCS programmes plus 3 and 5 day block courses for other unions.

The teaching will be mainly in Bristol but with travel across the region as required.

This is a variable hours position and the teaching commitment will vary according to your availability and union course workload.

You will be asked to deliver courses across the curriculum - for example health and safety, union rep courses, employment law and equality.

Support and mentoring will be available as required.


You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.
