Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team.
As a Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support and services to individuals, particularly working with people on the autism spectrum and children.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others through patient care, clinical research, and special education.
Duties:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, families, or groups
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Conduct research studies and contribute to clinical research in the field of psychology
- Stay uptodate with advancements in psychological theories, techniques, and treatments
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.
D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice as a Psychologist
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and children is highly preferred
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
