As an intern at Awerian, you will be part of a team at the forefront of this innovation race to defend and protect the UK from the latest technological and cyber threats.


Awerian's core activities include:
Science and Technology, Cyber, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Autonomous Systems, and Electromagnetics.


During this internship, you will contribute to exciting projects to get hands-on, practical experience and learn more about what a career in innovative technology and product development can offer.

As Awerian is a multi-disciplinary environment, you will work alongside talented people from a wide range of academic STEM backgrounds - from engineers to physicists - getting to learn from them, whilst also making your own mark on projects.


The length of this internship can be flexible according to individual circumstances, but we do ask for a commitment of a minimum of eight weeks.

Requirements:


  • Studying towards a 1st or high 2.1 degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics, General, Information & Software), or Mathematics (similar disciplines considered)
  • Must have completed at least 2 years of study by the time of the start of your internship (so students at the beginning of second year are very welcome to apply)
  • Enthusiastic and curious in nature. We want people who love to learn and get to the heart of a problem and who do so enthusiastically

You will need to be eligible for UK security clearance

This role is not eligible for UKVI sponsorship visa scheme
