The Warehouse & Machine Operator role:_

An experienced Warehouse Operative is required who is keen to expand their skills and learn how to operate billeting saws from 70mm Ø - 500mm Ø & a flatbed circular saw cutting Engineering grade Plastics from 5mm - 150mm thick.

Full training will be provided.

Previous experience from an engineering/manufacturing background would be an advantage.

Main Duties:_

Picking & packing orders promptly and accurately.
Stock management.
Operating forklifts.
Unloading shipments from Europe efficiently and accurately.
Operating warehouse machinery (Flatbed circular saw, billeting machine, planning machine)
Liaising with the office and management.
General housekeeping duties inside & outside.

Essential Skills required:_

An excellent communicator with a proactive approach and a cando attitude.
Able to work

Full-time position
Monday to Friday
, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
as part of a team.

Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Capable of managing own workload, particularly during busy periods.
Good organisational skills.
Good knowledge retention.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to cope with manual handling & some heavy lifting.

Previous experience operating saws, forklifts and experience from an engineering/manufacturing background would be an advantage. Company pension provided after qualifying period._

Salary:
£10.50-£13.00 per hour
