About us:

anzuk Education is currently seeking a
Secondary School Cover Supervisor with teaching experience to become part of our diverse team in Haggerston.

Our enthusiastic team is committed to nurturing a love for learning and promoting the holistic development of students. We have an established partnership with this excellent school in Haggerston.

Secondary School Teaching Assistant Job Description:

Full-Time: 5 days a week
8:15-4:15 daily.
Supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
Delivering preplanned lesson plans and managing classroom activities effectively.
Maintaining discipline and managing behaviour according to school policies.
Providing support to students in their learning, offering guidance and assistance when needed.
Liaising with teaching staff and administrators to ensure smooth operations during teacher absences.

The ideal Cover Supervisor:

Previous experience working in schools or similar is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain discipline.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
