£600-£660 per day pay
Our client is looking for a Cyber Delivery Manager to join them with the following skill set.
Skills:
- Role responsibilities include:_
- Drive delivery of strategic initiatives aimed at improving the security posture of the Home Office
- Provide effective engagement with and communication to key stakeholders across the DDaT portfolio's and broader Home Office who will contribute to the delivery of initiatives
- Identify delivery blockers or impediments early and take evasive action or escalate as appropriate
- Planning and taking insights from individual project delivery plans to translate into an endtoend outcome workstream level delivery plan, ensuring appropriate sequencing of the work across teams and coherence across wider automation delivery
- Developing capabilities centred around tooling into Product or Service centric teams
- Delivering in line with the capacity and availability of various delivery teams, leveraging frameworks to find the right suppliers and budgeting effectively for additional resourcing needs if necessary
- Working with senior stakeholders across the business, translating technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders, and influencing in order to achieve business outcomes
- Ensuring quality is considered in all tradeoffs and conversations in planning and delivery, understanding the potential impacts on quality of demands placed on delivery teams
- Actively managing risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple delivery teams
- Managing budgets and spending, making recommendations on resources and team profiles
- Using feedback loops, data analysis and experiments to iteratively improve the outcome being delivered
- Working with a multidisciplinary team (i.e. Business Change, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineers)
- Deliverables/activities:_
- Delivery Manager creates and maintains workstream level delivery plans and associated workstream reporting
- Delivery Manager plans, prioritises and provides leadership oversight of the delivery of multiple projects. Ensuring sprint teams are correctly resourced, spend is tracked and stakeholders supportive in order to accelerate delivery
- Delivery Manager owns a workstream level RAID log to actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple delivery teams
- Delivery Manager supports business and technology Senior Stakeholder relationship management relationships alongside owning management level operational relationships with support from a multidisciplinary team
- Assessing cyber security supply chain risk
- Designing and embedding supply chain risk processes inline with good practice e.g. NCSC principles (below)
- Setting and communicating controls with suppliers
- Supplier due diligence
- Checking controls are enforceable through contracts
- Undertaking assurance activities to conform controls are implemented
- Building feedback and continuous improvement into supply chain risk processes
