About the role


We are looking for a bright and innovative individual to fill the role of Study Engagement Adviser to work on new initiatives to improve student engagement, retention, and specialist support in mental health and wellbeing.

This position sits within our Student Services department, alongside other specialist advisers.

This role is about providing proactive support to students, helping them to engage with their studies, providing advice and guidance, and promoting OCA's wellbeing initiatives.


About you
You need to have A-levels or equivalent and have an NVQ Level 4 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent.

You will have experience of working with and supporting a diverse range of people, and be a compassionate listener and proactive problem solver.

Knowledge and understanding of the challenges and benefits of distance learning and how to support students in that context is desirable, though not essential.

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £19,093.88 per year
