Hays are currently looking for supply teachers for secondary schools across the Wolverhampton & surrounding areas including Telford and Shropshire

Hays are the leading Education recruiter for secondary schools in the West Midlands and surrounding areas and are continuing to experience huge demand for supply teachers this academic year.

Recruiting for schools across the Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley andsurrounding areas, this could be for daily cover, long term roles or for permanent positions and we are currently seeking secondary teachers.

Your new role

Joining Hays as a supply teacher, you will be fully supported by a dedicated Hays Consultant and will gain access to Hays Education benefits.

As a supply teacher, you can determine which days you would like to work and you can gain experience in different schoolslocally.

Furthermore, if you are doing daily cover there won't be the requirement for planning & preparation, therefore providing an attractive work life balance.

As a supply teacher completing a short term role, you will typically teach pre planned lessons,always ensuring that pupils are undertaking the work set and that behaviour is appropriate.

Schools are also recruiting for long term roles, therefore should you want more consistent long term work this is also available, however this would likely includeplanning and preparation.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status, however you could be an ECT or a more experienced teacher.

You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach, as well as possessing strong relationship buildingskills and good behaviour management.
