Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Gymnastics (BG Qualified).

As the Head of Gymnastics, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our gymnastics program, including coaching, training, and development.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our gymnastics program.


Duties:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive gymnastics curriculum that aligns with industry standards and promotes skill progression
  • Help support and supervise a team of gymnastics coaches, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular gymnastics classes for athletes of all ages and skill levels
  • Plan and organise gymnastics competitions, events, and showcases if we feel we wish to do those.
  • Evaluate athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all athletes during training sessions and competitions
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and developments in gymnastics coaching techniques and equipment

Requirements:


  • Must have a valid BG qualification in gymnastics coaching. Level 2 and above.
  • Proven experience in coaching gymnastics at various levels, from beginner to advanced
  • Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and progressions
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and staff members
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Types:

Salary:
Up to £25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week

Experience:


  • Sports coaching: 2 years (required)
  • Gymnastics coaching: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • British gymnastics qualification (required)
