Role Description Job holder will report to the Production Management Team
Direct reports - None
Objectives of the role
- To operate process plant and equipment, in an efficient manner to maximise process output.
- To participate in the continuous improvement activity to assure the sites efficiency. Driving down manufacturing cost, waste materials, and controlling the 7 Wastes.
Key areas of responsibility
- Safe operation of plant and equipment, and good housekeeping controls
- Maximising Production on time in full to the production schedule
- Perform effectively in a Lean Manufacturing Environment
- Maintain controls of raw materials to maximise use, reduce waste and control stock accuracy
- Work alongside the management team to improve Health, Safety, and Environmental obligations, protecting the business and staff

Hours of work 42 hours per week

Salary:
£25,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
