CLINICAL FELLOW IN GENERAL MEDICINE (7 POSTS)

BASE:

Applications are invited for the above posts based at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in General Medicine, which includes Endocrinology & Diabetes, Respiratory, Gastroenterology and Cardiology for a period of 12 months in the first instance.

The successful applicant will be based within ward 10 our Diabetes & Endocrinology/General medicine ward.

They will also have opportunity to attend and support a number of specialty clinics, as well as assess inpatient specialty referrals (with supervision).

Ideally applicants would be either doctors with a broad general professional training including General Medicine or GP vocationally trained doctors who wish to gain further specialty experience.

Applications will be considered for part-time working or as a job share opportunity. There may be a requirement for out of hours working

This post holds educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean. If appointed as a Clinical Fellow this post will not be recognised for Training

To practice medicine in the you need to hold both GMC registration and a licence to practice
