Responsibilities:

As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our organization


Your responsibilities will include:

Logistics Coordination:


  • Coordinate the shipment of materials and products to and from various locations.
  • Work closely with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and costeffective deliveries.

Documentation:


  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Inventory Management:


  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.

Communication:


  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate shipping schedules and priorities.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve any shipping issues.

Quality Control:


  • Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Cost Management:


  • Optimize shipping costs through negotiation with carriers and efficient routing.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Shipping Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy.
