Recoveries Handler
12-month FTC, fully remote
37.5 hours a week

Interested in starting or furthering a career in an international insurance company? Look no further Davies is seeking a Recoveries Handler to join our successful third-party Recoveries team.
Working efficiently to ensure that the financial recovery for the client is maximised and files which do not settle are prepared for litigation and transferred in a timely manner to achieve individual, team and department targets, KPI's.

What will your day look like
- Reviewing instructions, and sending all initial correspondence in a timely manner
- Organising, prioritising and handling own workload in line with standard operating procedures
- Ensuring that files transferred to litigation are ready to be issued
- Effective use of the case management system to ensure all management information is accurate and updated in a timely manner, including updating the present position following each file touched
- Meeting critical dates and SLA's
- Documenting all actions/strategies by way of a file note
- Labelling all documents in the history
- Delivering quality work meeting audit benchmark standards
- Driving own personal development
- Contributing to team effort by working collaboratively to ensure that team targets are achieved and by positively contributing to team moral
Abilities And Knowledge
- Ideally experience of working in an insurance or legal environment
- Ability to keep all stakeholders informed about claim progress through wellcrafted correspondence
- Demonstrate experience of and the ability to:
- Work to set deadlines.
- Organise and prioritise workload
- Work as part of a team
- IT literate: Proficient in use of Microsoft Office packages (Excel and Word)
