Management Accountant | Global Media Agency | Central London


Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with an Independent Global Media Agency with their search for a Management Accountant to join their team in Central London.

The agency aims to help global advertisers and brands successfully navigate the evolving medialandscape.

They have grown rapidly in the last 4 years and are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their vibrant team, to hit the ground running and grow into a more senior figure over the next 2-3 years.

The Role:


Reporting into an experienced Finance Director, the role has been newly created to prepare and present financial reports for UK and global markets to senior management teams.

Whilst providing insights into business performance, you'll be collaborating withthe Finance Manager to ensure all financial reporting and operations are aligned, ensuring the smooth running of the finance department.

The role will eventually become the number two in finance role, where you will take on more commercial duties and managemore junior members of the finance team over a 12-18-month period.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Month end reporting preparation of management accounts and financial information
  • Reconciliation of revenue and costs of sales
  • Being a key driver for audit process
  • Production of consolidated management accounts
  • Weekly review and analysis of account coding accuracy in Trail Balance ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded
  • Assisting Finance Director in liaison with local tax advisors, assisting in yearend statutory reporting and local compliance reporting
  • Ad hoc finance support

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

  • Part Qualified or Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA
  • Strong knowledge on accounting policies (revenue, cost of sales, overhead, tax)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good allrounder, proactive, team player

What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):

  • Experience of using Xero Accounting software

Salary:
£50,000 - £58,000
