Job title:
Optimisation Pricing Analyst - Outside IR35

Location:
Bristol/Hybrid

Duration: 6 months initially

The role:

You are a key additional resource to the Insurance Pricing department.

You will work directly with Pricing, Product and Finance colleagues to understand performance of your models and use your analytical expertise to deliver pricing objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy pricing models to price business in line with business targets.
Evaluate appropriateness of statistical techniques.
Make model changes which improve performance.
Update current Lifetime Value (LTV) calculation and incorporate new modelling/valuation techniques

where increase added value

Support cooptimisation build by:
Building, testing and validating LTV input models
Keeping the above models up to date during the term of the contract
Establishing a repeatable monthly cooptimisation process in new RADAR environment

Requirements:

Deep technical understanding of predictive modelling techniques (e.g. GLM, GAM, GBM etc)
Experience developing predictive models
Manage your own work effectively to deliver agreed outcomes
Ability to manipulate large volumes of data to build predictive models
Ability to make databacked recommendations
Strong software skills. Notably applied use of SQL, EMBLEM and Radar
