A Japanese bank is currently recruiting a Relationship Management Support (AVP level) to work in their office in the City of London.

In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the sustainable growth of the department's business and ensure all the required internal & external policies, rules and procedures relating to Compliance/KYC/AML are followed.


TYPE:
Permanent, full-time


WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday

SALARY:
£62-78k depending on experience, plus good benefits

LOCATION:
City of London (Currently Hybrid working style - It may change depending on the company's decision.)


RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SUPPORT MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Direct responsible for conducting KYC, onboarding new clients, maintaining the account, account closure and other relevant tasks
  • Support relationship managers on operational and administration tasks
  • Assist RMs in the execution of transactions in close collaboration with other Middle/Back Office stakeholders, most notably various teams within their middle/back office
  • Accompanying relationship managers to meet new and existing clients, including thereafter creation & circulation of call reports
  • Assisting RMs in producing marketing materials and managing the associated compliance review process
  • Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Comply with various regulations, internal policies, procedures, and rules
  • Other ad hoc tasks requested by more senior members of the team, and which contribute to the operation of the department

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SUPPORT IDEAL CANDIDATE:


  • Degree level education and / or working toward relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, MCT)
  • Experience of working in the financial sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both written and verbal
  • Asian language skills are favourable but not required
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Working level knowledge of key corporate finance concepts
  • Selfmotivated and flexible approach is essential, including an ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel under pressure and time constraints
  • Ability to work as part of the team essential
  • IT literate, including fluency with key Microsoft Office packages.
