  • Come and play a key role in ensuring we send out the door is right first time, every time.

As the Member Communications Tester, you will support the creation of test requirements and test table builds, managing the test of communications coming out of the Quadient system, including MI and reconciliation data.

You'll also work with other test functions in project work that may impact the WPS communications.

This role can be based in either Hove or Cardiff, with regular travel into Hove (twice a month).

What you'll be doing

  • Feeding in requirements and processes based on the testing of the communications, including activities and deliverables for defining the user stories associated with test to ensure testing is robust and effective.

Building effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally,, to maximise speed of resolutions and success of testing and meet team and project goals.


Contributing to the implementations of communications, ensuring these are maximised across all appropriate channels and updates on time, with robust test and learn activity to learn and evolve the communications to maximise their impact.

Implementing test framework and delivery to ensure maximum efficiency in communications creation, with ongoing updates and maintenance possible. Ensuring broader planned change is considered when feeding into requirements to determine dependencies and reduce repetition of test.


Adopting Agile practices, working within scrum framework, and contributing to and facilitating sprint ceremonies as required, to ensure testing is efficient and effective, and benefits from the opportunity for immediate feedback.


Working within our appropriate risk and compliance framework and demonstrate the key behaviours of a professional, supportive and engaging marketing function, to ensure decisions on communications and campaign activity adheres to Group risk framework.


Following Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) approach: Ensure that appropriate prioritising, planning and contingency for customer issues are integrated into solution designs so they are central to delivery and aligned to L&G's Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly Policy.

What we're looking for

  • Customer ExperienceUnderstanding the customer and the challenges they face (using tools such as Customer Journey Maps) enabling an 'outside in' approach to create solutions that customers need, want, and cherish.
Business Process Re-engineering

The ability to understand business processes, analyse as-is processes, develop new to-be processes in order to drive operational efficiency

Technology

Understanding of technology at a software engineer level is not required, however BAs need to understand technological constraints and opportunities and explain these to Business decision makers, understand the needs and concerns of development teams and contribute to solving technology-based challenges

Data Analysis


The ability to collect, collate and interpret data from a wide range of sources, including analytics, industry, line of business systems, etc.

, and to use that data to take an evidence-based approach to decision making and proposition development

Products & Regulation

Knowledge of pensions and other savings wrappers as well as relevant finance
regulations applying

  • Test experience.
  • Experience of Agile
  • Experience in a company within the "Financial Sector" (Ideally
Pensions and Savings or Investments).

  • Preferable: IT project experience (either Developer, BA, PM or System
Tester). Experience of Operational Change, Data & Process modelling, mapping, continuous improvement & re-engineering

  • Proven ability to lead business analysis activity in either agile or waterfall
methodologies
