About the Role


Are you a recent graduate or someone who is looking for a new opportunity or new career in a marketing role? Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail? Are you highly organised, creative and willing to work as part of a team to deliver key objectives? If so, then this role could be the perfect opportunity for you and to start your career as Marketing Assistant for The Sheffield College.


Our new Marketing Assistant will work within a team of marketing professionals to support and deliver the college's Marketing Plan and objectives.

They will support the team to deliver high quality content across a range of marketing platforms and channels, maximising every opportunity to celebrate the college's successes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support College's marketing strategy, highlighting successes
  • Create engaging content for social media, websites and digital progress
  • Produce highquality content for advertising campaigns, targeting specific markets
  • Assist in organising events like Student Celebration Awards and Open Days
  • Contribute to internal communications plan and PR activities

Skills & Knowledge

  • High levels of written English, copywriting and proofreading
  • Degree or equivalent work experience in marketing/related field
  • Social media management / content creation
  • Experience liaising with key agencies (e.g. print, design, media booking)
  • Proactive, innovative, creative, team player, organised & good communicator
